Welcome to use AI Scan - PDF & DOC Scanner (hereinafter referred to as "the App"), developed and operated by the Hunanchengju Development Team (hereinafter referred to as "we"). This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App, as well as your rights to manage your information. 2. Collection and Use of Information

2.1 We only collect necessary information to realize the core functions of the App and will not actively collect irrelevant personal information.

2.2 Necessary Permissions and Information: When you use the scanning, image editing, and format conversion functions, we will request your device's camera permission (for direct scanning) and album permission (for selecting existing images). The images you scan or select are only used for AI edge detection, editing, OCR recognition, and generating PDF files, and will not be used for other purposes without your consent. The text content extracted through OCR will only be stored on your local device or your bound cloud account for your own viewing and copying.

2.3 Account and Cloud Storage Information (if applicable): If you choose to register an account to use the cloud storage function, we will collect the account information you actively provide (such as email address, user name) to verify your identity, manage your cloud files, and provide password retrieval services. This information will be strictly protected and will not be disclosed to third parties without authorization.

2.4 Non-Personal Identification Information: To optimize the App's performance, fix technical bugs, and improve user experience, we may automatically collect non-personal identification information such as your device model, operating system version, App version, and device unique identifier. This information is aggregated and analyzed only for technical optimization and will not be used to identify you individually.

3. Storage and Protection of Information

3.1 Storage Method: The files you generate (PDF), scanned images, and OCR-extracted text will be stored locally on your device by default. If you choose to use cloud storage, the files will be encrypted and stored on our secure cloud server, and only you can access them through your registered account.

3.2 Storage Period: Local files are managed by you, and you can delete them at any time through the App's built-in function. Cloud-stored files will be retained until you take the initiative to delete them or cancel your account. After you cancel your account, we will completely delete all your cloud data within 30 working days (unless otherwise required by relevant laws and regulations).

3.3 Security Protection: We adopt industry-leading security technologies and measures, including data encryption, access permission control, security audit, and anti-attack systems, to prevent your information from being unauthorized accessed, disclosed, altered, or damaged. However, please note that no network transmission or storage method can guarantee 100% security. You should properly keep your account and device information to avoid information leakage.

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

4.1 We will never actively share your personal information, scanned images, or generated files with any third party unless we obtain your explicit authorization (such as when you choose to share files with others via links or copies).

4.2 Legal Disclosure: We may disclose your relevant information in accordance with the mandatory requirements of laws, regulations, judicial organs, or administrative departments to cooperate with law enforcement investigations or fulfill legal obligations. In such cases, we will strictly follow the requirements of relevant laws and regulations and try our best to protect your legitimate rights and interests.

4.3 Third-Party SDKs: The App may integrate third-party SDKs (such as statistical analysis SDKs) to improve service quality. These third parties will collect relevant information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We have strictly reviewed the privacy policies of these third parties and require them to protect your information security. 5. Your Rights

5.1 You have the right to view and manage your account information, local files, and cloud files (including viewing, downloading, and deleting).

5.2 You have the right to cancel your account at any time. After account cancellation, we will stop providing you with cloud storage and other related services and delete your relevant information in accordance with the provisions of Article 3.2.

6. Updates to the Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy in accordance with changes in laws and regulations, adjustments to regulatory requirements, or updates to the App's functions. The revised Privacy Policy will be prominently displayed in the App (such as pop-up prompts, announcement pages) before taking effect. If you continue to use the App after the revision takes effect, it means you agree to the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the revision, please stop using the App in a timely manner.
